      Temperature Sensors

      Temperature Sensors

A temperature sensor measures temperature by touching the object being measured directly. It uses a thermistor, which changes its resistance as the temperature changes. This change in resistance is converted into an output signal, providing an accurate measurement of the object’s temperature.

      Other Sensor Types

      Miniature Sensors

MSC offers full function gear tooth sensors as small as 1/4″ diameter for limited space applications. Variable Reluctance, Digital Variable Reluctance, and Hall Effect true-zero speed sensing. Tubular and threaded styles with choice of termination.

      Explosion Proof Sensors

ATEX and CSA are certified safe for hazardous environments, such as methane gas, flammable liquids, airborne dust, or other explosives available. Learn More
